Fluffy American Buttercream
Hey there Bakers and Cakers!

I thought I'd share my version of a classic buttercream. This buttercream is perfect for most cakes with its' fluffy and smooth texture. Some say the flavor reminds them of ice cream. To achieve the best buttercream results, the frosting must be allowed to whip for at least 10 minutes. I usually turn my mixer on, make sure it's secure, and walk away for a minute. You must also use a good quality vanilla. I love madagascar vanilla extract - I purchase mine on amazon. Vanilla paste is also a perfect option for a rich 'French Vanilla' flavor.
